Engineered to fit snugly, the tempered glass saucepan lids trap steam to retain moisture in food. The thick bases retain heat, so you can cook at lower settings than you might be used to, and if any food does get stuck on when you’re searing or caramelising, Circulon recommend adding a splash of water when the pan is still hot, loosening browned bits and making them even easier to clean away.
